I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. The kids had a great Halloween, especially since they got to trick-or-treat for two nights. We have been really busy with school and work and that doesn't leave us with much extra time. Mason is enjoying learning how to play the cello. He is still plucking the strings right now at school, but has already taught himself how to use the bow. Megan is busy with her second year of Girl Scouts, but she has a lot of fun. Korbin is now going to daycare full time and seems to have a good time there. Although he does not eat food for them either. Hopefully one day he will . Dylan has been doing a lot of side projects for people, like floors, cabinets, and trim. He enjoys working for himself although it keeps him worn out and doesn't have much energy to finish his own projects at home. Work for me is about the same. I am just counting down the days until the shop will close. Hopefully it will stay open until the end of June but I am doubtful since the owners are now running ads to sell off equipment. I had looked at trying to take over the salon but the lease is too high for me at this time. I am not sure where I will go but I need to figure it out soon. Well I guess that is all for now.

Now that we have gotten into the shool routine again things are starting to settle down around the Mohr house. Mason and Megan are both convinced that they have the meanest teacher. I think their teachers are great and I would rather them have a strict teacher so they don't mess around all the time. Mason is nervous about 5th grade because there is so much work. Of course anything that doesn't involve playing video games or spending time with his best friend Nathtan is probably too much work for him. HAHA Megan on the other hand is slightly bored in 3rd grade right now. She is learning cursive but thinks she already knows everything because her older brother has already taught her how to write quite a bit of cursive.

Korbin is back to work with his mom full time. This makes for extra long days because he is SO active and there isn't much for him to do at work. He likes to curl his hair and play in the water at the shampoo bowl instead of play with his toys. I guess he just wants to be like his mom, how sweet. We have been looking at quite a few options to get him back into a daycare but it is hard to find a part time daycare. At least I am SO LUCKY to be able to have a job where he is allowed to come with me.

We can't believe that summer is already over. School starts in one week. Megan is excited and hopes that she gets the same teacher that Mason had in third grade. We will find out next Tuesday. Mason on the other hand is not so excited about starting school. He is glad that he will be able to see his friends but of course this also means he won't be able to play so many video games. He is starting the fifth grade this year.

Mason celebrated his eleventh birthday a few weeks ago. He wanted to take his best friend Nathan to play laser tag. They had a lot of fun even Megan joined in. Korbin had fun playing a few video games but was ready to leave way before the other kids were.

Dylan and I have been working on the house some more. We decided to add a wall between our room and the living room and to close off Mason's room. It gives the house a less lofty feel and hopefully will make it easier to sell when we are ready to put it back on the market. Because of the style of our house Dylan was able to use creative ways to build the wall.

Dylan and Megan took a motorcycle ride the other day to watch some motorcycle racing. Megan seems to be the only kid excited about this so far but she is ready for her own bike. Well, I guess that Korbin is excited too but he is too small to ride. I am also really excited because now I will finally be able to learn the gears on a bike without it having to be a big motorcycle. Most of the bike that are used on the track are small dirt bikes 150cc with street tires. But once I learn the gears then I won't have any excuses left of why I don't have my own motorcycle.

Other than that we haven't been up to much. We try to go on a family bicycle ride at least once a week. We all have a lot of fun. Even Korbin has fun riding in his trailer.

We have found something that Korbin will actually eat. =)
It has been crazy as usual at the Mohr's house. There is always something going on. Mason and Megan are enjoying summer camp for the month of July. They get to go swimming, go to the zoo, the children's musuem and a bunch of other exciting trips and fun filled days. This is their third year to attend so I think that they really like it and feel comfortable there. Although Mason is getting pretty old and too cool for things like this. This may be his last year. Korbin is a busy little animal. The terrible twos have already started and he is just shy of 18 months. He has just started daycare two days a week and is on a waiting list to attend full time. Hopefully by September he will be able to go full time. He is getting to be quite the handful at work and needs to go and be a kid. He seems to really enjoy the time that he does spend at daycare though. Dylan and I are busy working all the time and playing with the kids when we are not.
